About Our Organization
The Breast Cancer Survivors' Network, Inc., a grassroots, Georgia-based non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides free programs, supplies, and services for cancer patients and the community. Our mission is to provide assistance, education, and positive support services before, during, and after diagnosis, treatment, and recovery of Breast Cancer.
More than 150 volunteers help in your communities to support, comfort, and give courage to patients in their fight against breast cancer. Every dollar donated is spent thoughtfully and wisely to help support our many programs:
The BCSN also offers Support Groups specifically for Young Survivors of Breast Cancer and for women who primarily speak or prefer Spanish, allowing us to meet the unique and diverse needs of the Survivors we serve.
Janet Beebe, BCSN President and Founder, was actually a “Young Survivor” when she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1983 at the age of 33. She noticed a lump in her breast one day while breastfeeding. Since then, she has continuously worked in the breast cancer community with many non-profit organizations. In 2005, Janet founded The Breast Cancer Survivors' Network, Inc. It is Janet’s goal to help all patients remain Survivors!
